The other 2 AA settings are not worth it. Playing on the beta in the new zones I was getting choppy 35-45fps with the gtx 680 on ultra at 4x AA, same settings with the gtx 1070 I am now getting a smooth 60+fps I was also able to bump the AA to 8x. With the release of Legion coming WoW seemed to have shifted to more gpu bound. I primarily got the card for World of Warcraft, Overwatch and Battlefield 1. Overall Review: Perfect for 1440p gaming. I have just come to the fact that coil whine is going to happen with high end cards. With the fans mostly silent I have zero reason to complain. Was only $10 more than the SC version and was in stock at time of my purchase, was worth it for the larger fan and custom PCBĬons: Minor coil whine, nothing compared to my gtx 680. I have the card paired with i5 6600k at 4.5ghz Compared to be my gtx 680 which ran at 82c under the same loadĬard looks sleek and solid when compared to the gtx 680 which was pretty dull I doubt I will attempt to overclockĬool and Quite. Pros: Card has already boosted itself to 2074mhz out of the box.
